早前在網上看到這張圖片,覺得幾有趣,所以就在這裡跟大家分享了。 tongue.gif

我發覺自己是英美混雜的 wacko.gif 常用eggplant, sandwich, 但又會用 biscuits 多過用 crackers/cookies

其實圖中有不少詞彙看來也包含了不少地方特色呢,例如pudding VS desserts; tea vs supper

Interesting translations. 
I have seen both Minced and Ground meat, or Coriander and Cilantro being used, even though the latter are more common.
Prawns are widely used for large shrimps. 

We know "Chips" from Fish & Chips are french fries, because it is a British dish grin2.gif

Here we use Biscuits for the soft, flaky bread; Porridge for grits-like food.  
I thought Sausage was used in both places, even though Wurst (German) and Kielbasa (Polish) are quite common here as well.
