大家的行業是什麼? 平均工作/加班時間?

我在三家公司做過。三家都是金融服務行業。範圍是產品管理,金融/管理報告,分析, 和策略。第一個是在郊區，7am-4pm ，1hr lunch。 大部分時間7am to 6-7pm 。一年要出差一/兩次。

第二家公司是在兩個大城市裡，搬了兩次. 一開始9am-5pm. 漸漸越來越多OT, 7pm, 8pm, 到一段時間9am-11pm. 一年要出差幾次. 搬回NY後，從一個月一次到每隔一個星期回team base/上司報到. 出差的日子要4am起床, 一直工作到當地時間9pm/10pm. 回程的日子11pm回到NY.

現在的公司時間比之前靈活，輕鬆很多. 9am-5pm. Lunch anytime. 上司也在另一個城市, 但不會管我的工作時間和在辦公室或在家工作, 只要工作完成可以. 遲到早退去處理私事也不會理

Beverage: 今年中，在cwb一家連鎖美式餐廳當pt BAR
一個月前穫cwb ㄧ家澳洲扒房聘作 ft BAR

三家cwb 的公司是非常近的說。

目前每天工時九小時(包括—小時晚飯), 繁忙日子(Fri)可能會加一。

閒日沒事做的話都在清潔，我洗東西簡直稱王。

第一次和不同族裔人共事，Philippines and Nepalese and Local.

廚房還有一位無聲的清潔叔叔，溝通亞歷山大。

我反而想借串問，年假天數與年資也答一下，可以？


我先上一下，
朝九晚五，每周四天半
午飯一小時，如果team lunch外出就兩小時
出差呢現在說不準，我上司還沒退休，所以我還有的選擇，
以我那位兩年內將會退休的上司來說吧，一年大約40-60天不在港。
因為工作性質問題，出差也沒有多辛苦，客人會當你救命恩人般招待。

我的工作性質基本上就是project management。
公司不算龍頭企業，不過也頗具規模，市値有過一百億。

目前年假就十四天，感覺有點少。

其實，我的公司是一間正在發展中的初創企業

我公司的行業是美容及個人護理產品。工作時間是星期一至五 09:00-18:00，不用OT。雖然工作有時會一起湧到面前，但整體來說尚算輕鬆，自由度甚大。我的職責是跟代理商和大客保持良好關係，同時監察他們有沒有做出損害公司利益或名譽的事。此外管理及制定一些條規、聲明、責任...etc 加入這公司才一年半，年假14日。

年資 is years of experience?

第一間: 道瓊斯工業平均指數之一. 20日年假? (包括病假)

第二間: 綜合企業. 開始24日年假 (包括病假), 五年後27日

現在: 中等規模公司. 15日年假, 2日私人假期, 病假無限

程序猿一隻

工作時間名為一至五9-5，但如有需要(大概率)可變為一至日9-?。

加班？是正常工作時間！

補水？喝的水就有得補！

食飯？電腦前邊做邊食！

Apologies for the ignorance...can someone tell me if 年資 is equivalent to "years of experience"?

Also, how many days of public holiday are there in HK and how many day does your work considers them paid holidays?

17天有薪公眾假期。(另外有所謂勞工假，12天...)
(今年特別一些，為了慶祝中國戰勝2次世界大戰70週年，特別設定9月3日為假期，所以是18天。未必是長期的。)

今年勞工假已是13天了。

侍產假甚麼的太遙遠了.

在這個資本主義水深火熱的西方國家，每年有薪公眾假期只有10 - 12天(有兩天非法定，看僱主心情)。

「年資」refers to “years of working experience” in a company, or in an industries. For examples, some journalists were working at home as freelance writer. Some IT technicians were supporting clients by the TeamViewer…etc. Although they didn’t work in a office, they are still experienced insiders of their industries.

There are “Public Holidays” and “Statutory Holidays” in Hong Kong. All employers must obey the “Statutory Holidays” as minimum. Furthermore, you may compare the difference between “Public Holidays” and “Statutory Holidays” by the following links.

Thanks. We have a lot of public holidays here (with religious, cultural or local observance) but there are designated federal or bank holidays. Most private companies pay for 9-11 days of national holidays.

I think it's common for programmers/software engineers. My husband, brother in law and most of my college buddies are software engineers, and most of their lunch times are spent eating by their desks or taking pretty short breaks. It is very similar style despite that they work in different industries - defense & aerospace, government contractors or departments, financial information, insurance, or banking.

I'd take a guess on 懶蛇's comments (some generalizations here):

食飯:
1- Majority of engineers are introverts. That means they enjoy solitude and are happier eating by their desks and browsing/surfing the internet instead of doing lunch outings in a group (Ask an engineer to choose between computer time and socializing time and he or she will tell you that there's plenty of socialization on the internet)
2- Sometimes they are just that close to solving an issue or coming up with an idea, but starvation is calling them.

加班:
Similar to reason #2 for lunch time above. Unfortunately for their type of work, manual hours don't always correlate to output and productivity. It's not like "Give me an extra 30 mins and it'll be done". A lot of times hours are hardly relevant but sometimes an issue could be identified/fixed after spending some random/odd hours. That is also a reason that the large tech companies in Silicon Valley allow flexible hour arrangements (meaning you can work 10pm-6am instead of 9am-5pm), health & wellness facilities, relaxation area, and cafeteria full of free food - so that they can put their thinking caps on when they "get into the mood" (and increase productivity)

補水:
Similar to the reasons above. They are usually paid for the productivity rather than the hours spent on each task/projects.
