因為家裡的電腦玩不到《大航海時代IV》合輯，我在遊戲店換購了《Sims: Complete Collection》英文版，即《Sims》和所有expansion packs。

但我不太會玩，既不明白新造的Sims儲存在哪兒，也不知道為甚麼無法刪除已造的Sims，重新啟動遊戲。如有新手入門或Sims for Dummies之類的資料，煩請提供，謝謝。

I don't understand what your exactly problem is.....
But I try to explain it briefly...


In sims2,u cannot delete a single "sims"
You can only :
1.kill him by "man made accident"in game,
2.Del the whole family in big map
3.Make the sims leave the family by newspaper/computer in game,delete the family with single sims in map


In big map....just click on a family ....if u want to play it
If u want ur new family combine with a old 1,click on the new family on the old family house
If u want to create a new family,click the 2nd selection on the 7:00(there should be 4/5 circle)
U can move the family to a land/house,or to make a family leave from a land also
You can only put the family in 1 city only...be careful.(there should be 3 cities in normal)
the 3rd 1 is "house box" ,for save/load house(The housing is too difficult in sims2...I usually use the house and edit there rather than create a new 1)

About University:
If a sims gradulated from a University and back to city...he will lose all money and starting with 20000 dollars in city...be sure u use all your money and keep in your bag before u leaving school....I lost 8xxx dollars lat time....

The difference of Sims and Sims form university is:
Ths normal sims start all career step to step...from 1st class to final
A gradulated 1 start their career level base on the skill lv and friend lv.

But it also says:u miss the chance to having addition wealth /skill in it(the chance cards)





Sims 1 can do such thing already.....but u need to use the specific bed

Thanks kyr. But my questions are all about Sims1 but NOT Sims2.

1. In Sims1, I started the game with a newly created Sim, moved her in one of the houses and played along. But in the middle of the game, I found the result unsatisfactory and would like to delete the existing Sim, and start the game all over again with another new Sim. How can I do that?

2. When I saved and left the game, and re-started it at a later time, where should I start? I tried to go into the Family menu and couldn't find my Sims there.

Hope these clarify the situation.

1.Back to the town->move the family from the land is ok

2.Left click on th land/house ur sims living in.

The links of sims mostly dead/renew to Sims2

I saw(and bought) a expansion pack about "magic world" before,it have a little difference with original expansion...have u go it???

I know - that's why it was a bit difficult for me to find useful guide for dummies or first time Sims players.

The Complete Collection includes all expansion packs of Sims1, which means, yes, the Magic World and the pet thing are also included. But I want to familiarise myself with the basics first before moving forward to explore other options. My priority now is to keep my Sim happy when she goes to work - her mood drops two grades when she moves to the company car! Perhaps I got her the wrong job...

No need to keep your sims in the best ,keep her mood in green is enough~

Why her mood drop 2 grades when she moves to the company car usually her "environment "droped(Make a swimming pool ,more plants,keep it clean .......)

Sims2 is better than Sims1 (except there's no pet, vulcation and magic in Sims2)
But a little expensive....(no expansion pack yet....at least Feb I think)


My romantic sims in sims 2 is now having 25 lovers,having a target"xx with 30 sims"

You mean EA have not released expansion packs or you have not yet bought it?
Because EA already released 2 expansion packs, University and Nightlife.
By the way, there are news said that a new expansion pack will be coming up on next spring.

我的Sim現在生活甚好，但要升職的話，得結交兩個朋友（family friends）。請問朋友的定義是甚麼？我的Sim認識十多個鄰居，但感情好的只有兩三人，指數在40以上。那麼，是否40還算不上是朋友？朋友的指數是多少？有甚麼方法可以在短期內提升友情？請客吃飯似乎甚是有效，不過一天工作之後，體力所剩無幾，吃完飯後，我的Sim往往自行上床睡覺去，留下朋友一個人在喝咖啡閒晃。

Thanks kyr. My Sim did send some gifts she made herself (by practising mechanical skill) and these seem to be well received.

My Sim is living alone and perhaps that's why she is running out of time to achieve her goals.

What career u choose??And your skill??

Have u ever tried improve ur characteristic??
To improve your characteristic......u can buy a crystal(a ball on a table)
If u have full in vig,ur sims can reduce his sleeping time~(1~2 hours...)



In Sims 1....wheather what job u choose.....you will be the CEO(business)finally....

Example:
I start from military and get the "general "post(highest level of military)
1 day,I change into police officer(security)(the 2nd high lv with more money than general)
After I reach the highest lv in "security"
I was promoted ->well known in public,someone ask me to be a sportman
(And become a star later on....but I 'd like to skip it.... )
Finally become a business man~

For those career with higher income in early level(first 5),the requirement of friendship is lower,but their final salary is lower(with positive ratio)


If u have enough money,u may ask a friend to have a happy vacation~
You need not to work during it~

I suggest u ask a friend to live with u~if u are not using her/him to get dozens of lovers

蝕錢方面嘛，小弟都唔清楚，因為我對我既電腦有自知之明.....玩人仔實會好lag（Load家庭都成幾分鐘，所以已經投身建造業....你既問題有機會問問高手啦（逃~~~）

好似係整機械人既工具中整既（名字忘記了）
果d機械人本身可以賣或者造出黎為製造者服務如今清潔等

想八掛一下AC兄係自家作店還是買外面既屋作店？
