I just lost track of what you're talking about. So are you still trying to show that "he lead his son to """red 5"""Do not give them much education"? Well you showed nothing. The first thing to let his children becomes "red 5" is to stop being a banker himself, and stop letting them getting higher education (if he was a prophet of course he could do that). Sigh, I doubt you know what red 5 really means when you make a claim like that. And I keep telling you to check the dates. Do you know when did he sent his children back to China? That's way before the late sixties. I hope you're getting what it means. These kind of "praising" articles sometimes make lots of speculations and exaggerations. I think you're doing the very same thing (if not worse) for his attitude towards education and his wife, just that you're not praising.
Huh? -------------------- ......

Well...I really do no appreicate the"praising" the article involved. To a reader, his thinking should be:This guy is a good officier, good father, good husband......a wonderful man at all. His sons is useless that do not involved in government/bank or what...one of them was only a driver untill retired ¦ý¥L«o©Úµ´·í«e¤¤¦@©x³õÅv¿ú¥æ©öªº»¤´b¡Mµ´¤£¬°¤v¿Ñ¨p¡M¤]¤£¬°®aÄݿѤ@©x¥b¾¡Cnone of his sons/daughters¬F¬É©M°Ó¬É Red 5 is something like farmer or some others workers Black 5 should be something like rich man,big land lord..... CCP always say how good and great the workers are.....and cheat some educated foul to join the work in farm....(go by their own feel, not the later event......) Maybe I have made something wrong. University@China was one of the place that brain wash and train agents to other country)He should know the culture ther and still let his sons studied that...... I believe the UK government do not accept somone with such background. Do u remember the ""Fork""(I don't sure his spelling),he just sold some materials to mainland during cold war,the HK government stopped his 2 buildings water and elevtricity. Second,in that age,HK market should be mostly captured by foreign company. Those company would rather employ those with Euro/Amer education or foreigner. For Chinese company....need good relationship usually. That's what his sons likely suffered in HK.(I assume it by the society background.) In China...they was critical by others with a big dad.....(in the article I linked.) I don't know what the mainland was in that age so I don't give any comment.....but they should have a hard time. By pointing such a way for sons.....give no helps to them but give them negative influence with his reputation. I do not accept him as a really good father(Or I should say a wise father ). For his wife part. I don't like to kneel kneel or beg anyone for help...... But if my relatives/friends need a hand...I may ask someone to do so. Since I am not a guy letting anyone get hurted to keep my faith. ¤Ó¤Ó¨S¦³ÂåÀø«O°·¡M»´ä¦í°|¶O©ù¶Q¡M´N°e¨ì²`¦`¦í°|¡M¤Ó¤Ó³Ì«á¦b²`¦`¹L¥@¡M¡M¥L±q¨Ó¤£§\¤@Án¡C´I°Ó§õ¹Å¸Û¬O²ø¥@¥ªº¦nªB¤Í¡M¥L¦h¦¸¹ï²ø¥@¥»¡¡M¦³¤°»ò¨Æ»ÝnÀ°¦£ªº´N§i¶D¥L¡C¦ý²ø¥@¥±q¨Ó¤£¬°¦Û¤vÓ¤Hªº¨Æ¥h§ä¤HÀ°§U Do not have enough money for wife medical insurance.....and refuse friends help.Don't u think a little disgusting. BTW,Mr Lee should have aid him in indirect method if he can.....I don't know if he did anything finally. Both 2 things involved such problems still write him as a wonderful person...HK writers really need to have a check in their brain..... Also,as a wise person,he should make a fair retired fund/salary,not blindly give all money back to China. This make me think him a blind CCP/buy reputation. I think Deng know importance of free market and make conditions when markets need balanced. Noone would concern what the real meaning in words of CCP,freedom or what .....even the real members may not absolutely right on that. Also, the theory cannot prove itself work. The meaning of them should be the way government running the society. -------------------- DoroDoroDoro....

Yup, you're either a big guy with money and power or you're useless. Yup I'm useless too since I'm not involved in government/bank or have a big powerful rich fancy position, I'm just like useless garbage if I adapt to your thinking.
You want to lead your children to become "red 5" in the future, so you send them to study in universities while you work as a banker. Wonderful idea.
You're just totally off. There's no point arguing that power and money is not a target he set for his children, because you're arguing with nobody. You know what your problem is? You couldn't comprehend any view towards education other than "education==a way to get power and money", so you conclude someone who doesn't think like that means he doesn't want much education for his children, and therefore must be stupid and a big joke.
You don't give any comment? So what is the whole bunch of replies related to his sons you just posted? What about those "red 5" and "university is for brainwash" stuff? I think you do know, right? Or now you just want to take those comments back? But yes, I think some of them had a hard time during that period.
Well, maybe you think universities in China only do brainwash and nothing else so definitely no help at all. He couldn't foresee some history event that we all know today so he definitely is stupid and should be laughed at.
You had a bizarre belief that his wife died due to insufficient money spent on care facility during her final days, you're so fond of this belief that you think this must be the truth and nothing else could possibly happen. Facts like Alzheimer's disease is degenerative and not curable by money, and his wife has lived well passed the average life expectancy, means nothing to you. All you did is to make things up so your conclusion can be supported and you'll feel comfortable laughing at someone. You fell for those praising article's style of description, keep quoting a sentence over and over, make-believe from it's supposed "hidden meaning". You did all these even though you say the writers need to get their brain checked, how ironic. -------------------- ......

That's right. Maybe not "none would concern" but you get the big picture. So, what makes you think that "what he did was only a (failed) communist goal" instead of "he did it for the advancement of CCP" or "he did it for the future of China"? What makes you think that "he is a one who faked and blindly believe in it"? Do you even know what exactly did he believe in? ¥»½g¤å³¹¤w³Q ®}¤¸ª½ ©ó Jun 15 2007, 03:02 ½s¿è¹L -------------------- ......
