Beautiful but self-willed, the rich girl Wu Qiuli was fond of Xu
Shaotanga, journalist working in her father's newspaper.
However, Xu already had a girlfriend Chen Fengjuan, a singer
who had the same face as Wu's. Wu did not know Xu's affair with
Chen until Christmas when she followed him to a lounge after

to avenge on her.

At home, Chen's uncle had been waiting with a guest Hong Dalong,
a nightclub owner, who wanted Chen to sing in his nightclub. Yet
Chen and Xu refused to accept. Hong and George then left in anger.
Meanwhile, Wu told her father that Xu had been keeping his affair with Chen a secret and she was annoyed. To pacify his daughter, Wu's father dispatched Xu to work in Singapore for a few months. Before his departure, Xu bought a diamond ring and propose to Chen. She blushed and accepted. |

Hong had looked upon Chen for some time and sent his men to kidnap
her at the airport. By mistake they caught Wu instead. Having read
his mind, Wu suggested Hong and his men to kidnap Chen during the
school picnic. And they succeeded. Hong also bribed Chen's mother
so that she would also help persuading Chen. Having heard her
mother's words, Chen finally yielded to Hong.
Xu rushed back to Hong Kong upon hearing that Chen had become Hong's mistress. Sad and feeling ashamed, Chen refused to marry Xu but he insisted. As they talked Hong and his men came and dragged Chen away. Xu was badly beaten and fainted. Chen thought Xu was dead and went insane. |

Seeing that Chen could no longer make money for him, George went
to Wu and blackmailed her for the fact that she had suggested
kidnapping Chen in the first instance. Wu was so annoyed that
she decided to kill George.
Upon discharge from the hospital Xu went to avenge to George. George said it was Wu's plot to kidnap Chen in exchange for her own safety. Xu then went to condemn Wu. Knowing that she would never win Xu's love, she went to kill George and then committed suicide.
